I feel slightly sick

St. Andrew Parish was robbed. Among other things, the thieves took the tabernacle, including the Eucharist inside.
I know times are hard, and a lot of people are desperate. And I’m forcing myself to assume that this was done by desperate people, not professional thieves. But for the love of Heaven, bring back the tabernacle. Collect the reward, if you need money.
Please.
“Oh Heavenly Father, protect the Blessed Body and Blood of Your Son, Jesus Christ, which was stolen. May it be protected from being used for evil. We ask this through that same Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit One God Forever and ever Amen.
Our Father ….

What worries me is that the Blessed Sacrament might be used for occult purposes such as a “Black Mass,” or that once the tabernacle is opened the Blessed Sacrament be desacrated or thrown in the garbage.
Last year around this time another tabernacle was stolen, I forget where. Being so close to Hallowe’en, I would be really concerned the theft is linked to occult practices. Especially since the Paschal Candle was also taken.
“Forgive them Father, they know not what they do.”
Hopefully, the presence of our Lord will work on their hearts to change them. And whatever they may do, God is still more powerful.
