This brought a tear to my eye

No, really. Click here - Stephanie created a digital ofrenda of my and TBS’ paternal grandparents for us. The story on it is true – they were incredibly in love. The ofrenda really makes that come alive for me in a way it hadn’t really before.
DziÄ™kuje bardzo, Stephanie – it’s beautiful.
Kasia, this link was beautiful. You look a lot like your grandmother, both beautiful. You’re fortunate to have a loving marriage that you and the Canuck can model yourselves after.

Vy nice . . . I don’t think I’ve ever seen a picture of Bill (and I didn’t know that was his name), and I only have very hazy memories of Marie.
I think that’s the nicest comment you’ve left on here yet, Joe.
Yeah, you would’ve been pretty young when Grandma died – barely five, actually – so the memories would be hazy. I have quite a few memories of her, but I really wish I’d been able to get to know her better. Since I was only eight and a half when she died, our relationship was necessarily more one-sided than my hindsight would have liked.
I remember Hilda distinctly at family gatherings, but there’s just a wisp of an image of Marie in there. I do however duistinctly remember when my parents got the phone call from yours, saying she’d died.
Since what goes around comes around, did you ever meet Ben and Esther? What do you remember of them?
