		<description>Maybe you've got an &lt;i&gt;Orthodox&lt;/i&gt; Nativity set!  In which case, the guy in brown could be St. Joseph, and the guy with the white beard, leaning on his staff is...THE DEVIL!

Yes, it's true (sort of).  I don't actually know if the Orthodox even HAVE Nativity sets.  But I HAVE seen many Russian Orthodox icons of the Nativity, and they do feature an old, white-bearded figure, leaning on a cane, who stands near St. Joseph and whispers doubts to him.
