We have a wedding date!
The Clam and the Canuck will be receiving the Sacrament of Marriage (does one receive that, or does one do something more active?) on Saturday, January 24, 2009.
This is very scary, but in a good way. Deep breaths, Clam, deep breaths!
Actually you confer the Sacrament on each other (or it is also said you enter into the Sacrament)
“On this day, they shall be shackled together….” Oops, wait, maybe that’s not right….
OK, “enter into” sounds more like it - thanks for the correction! (I knew “receive” didn’t sound right, but was too lazy to find out what was right…not a good sign, that…)
“On this day, she shall become his ball and chain; and he shall become her beast of burden…” :-p
“Enter into the Sacrament” is definitely a good way to put it…marriage is a constant blessing. You and the Canuck will be conferring the Sacrament on each other.

Congrats on setting the date. BTW, does the Canuck know about your new wedding vows? (And will you be calling him “BofB” online after you’ve wed?)
