I do have some resources, I just need to remember which one of them knows the person who does wedding cakes. I will keep you posted. What saved us a lot of money for our wedding was using a baker who used to work for the bakery (we couldn't afford to use) and she just happened to a friend of my maid of honor's mother. It was a beautiful an delicious cake at a great price. BTW -- I think that bridemaid who is supposed to be significantly smaller after Lent might be feeling some pressure now that there was a public announcement! ;-) Pleeeeze let me know how the dress looks!
