Our bookkeeper, upon learning that our boss sent her, me, and our receptionist flowers for Secretaries’/Administrative Professionals’/Whatever they’re calling us now Day:
“Shoot. That means I’m going to have to do my work…”
ROFL.
She should have returned the flowers…
I hated getting flowers on this day back when I was the only female employee who didn’t quite fall under this classification and they didn’t want to leave me out.
