Good heavens, Waldman, is there no limit to your obnoxiousness? Exactly what about K’s behavior is so gosh-darned offensive, particularly in comparison to the constant stream of filth flowing forth from your fingers?

It’s really interesting what you regard as the “wackjob extreme,” and it’d be even more interesting to hear your take on exactly what constitutes the “rational center.” If the “rational center” is the space occupied by people like you, don’t expect many folks to join you there. I’d rather be a contented wackjob extremist than a foul, nasty occupant of the “rational center.”

Which, of course, is exactly where you are?

And if you think I’m a “wackjob extreme”, you need to get out more. Even among religious folk - even among Christians - heck, even among Latin Rite Catholics - there’s quite a broad spectrum of orthodoxy, praxis, and devotion. I think if you spent any amount of time looking into it, you’d find that I’m not nearly as “wackjob extreme” as you think.

And for the record, that’s without factoring in the people who live in cult compounds and think they’re sleeping with the Messiah.
