Today is gonna be the day…
Kasia January 24th, 2009
…that I marry my best friend and the love of my life.
My hair is (basically) done, and the make-up artist should be here in half an hour.
Needless to say, things have already gone very wrong (from the standpoint of how planning is translating into execution). As an example, one of the groomsmen has been wretchedly ill, and though he is feeling somewhat better and is still coming into town (yes, I argued with him), he will not be standing up – he and his wife will just try to avoid getting too close to anyone, and we’ll find someone to stand in for him.
I’ll be back to blogging after the honeymoon.
It’s gonna be a beautiful day.
It’s at times like these that the words of Samuel Pepys come to mind: “Strange it is describe the pleasure we married folk feel in seeing some unwitting fool decoyed into joining our condition.” Congratulations, anyway.
It was a lovely wedding. Thanks for inviting us.
Oh congratulations and best, best wishes to you both, dearest Clam and Canuck! Have a wonderful, beautiful life together…
Happy Wedding to both of you…
Thank you for asking us to serve in your wedding – it was truly an honor.
And it was one of the nicest weddings we’ve ever seen. I knew you were putting tons of effort into planning it, and it really showed.
My dear Kasia and Canuck,
Your ceremony was beautiful on Saturday, as will be your entire wedded life together. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for letting myself and Michael be involved in your day. I am very grateful for that, and I will not forget it!!!
Love!!!
What a special day! It was beautiful and reverent and all that a wedding should be. The care and planning you both put into it really showed through. The two of you looked beautiful (yes, even you gentleman Canuck) and watching you together as you made this sacrament was a joy!
Thank you for allowing me to be a part of it all, it was an honor and a privelege.
I love you both!
Thanks for letting us come with our noisy kids….and Thomas the Tank engine….don’t know what we were thinking!
Loved your wedding, love you!!!
And don’t let “bear” ruin it for you; wedded life is in fact bliss!
Congratulations, Kasia and Canuck. I wish you both very happy.
