Prayer request
Kasia June 16th, 2009
Tomorrow afternoon is the green card interview.
Really, we should have nothing to worry about. It’s an authentic marriage; we’ve got mounds of evidence to support that; everyone we’ve dealt with at USCIS and the related agencies has been great; and as a safeguard against abuse or caprice, apparently the interviews are videotaped.
I have no idea what to wear. Canuck is going to wear what he wore to the photo session, though probably sans tie. I’m pretending that something fantastic is going to miraculously appear in my closet tomorrow morning. (Hey, it could happen…)
In any event, since we are both Olympic-grade worriers, any prayers you can spare would be profoundly appreciated.
Merci mille fois! Oh…wait…they might doubt my American creds if I keep up with the French…
I’ll post on how it went either tomorrow or Thursday, depending on how the schedule works.
** UPDATE ** All’s well – he got approved! Passport is stamped, actual green card will probably take 2 – 3 months because the facility is being retooled, but…he’s now a legal permanent resident!
Deo gratias and thank you for your prayers!!!
It will be just fine. Praying anyway thought.
duh… *THOUGH
Sufficient to each day are the evils therein…
Prayers coming.
